TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION

About the Certification Program

Narrative intelligence is experiencing unprecedented growth in popularity: professionals increasingly agree that technical knowledge and diplomas are losing their significance as the key drivers of effectiveness and demand.

Centres for Narrative Intelligence (CIN) bring together resources, experts, and educational programs. ADIN-accredited centers offer year-round courses, programs, and seminars for the general public, companies, educational institutions, and local government bodies engaged in personal and collective development.

ADIN is the organization responsible for regulating and accrediting narrative-intelligence-development programs.

Who It’s For

This training and certification track is designed for management, support, and education professionals, managers and directors, HR specialists, trainers, coaches, and management consultants who want to make narrative intelligence a professional specialization and understand the boundaries of their expertise — how a narratologist differs from a psychologist, a coach, and a PR strategist.

Features and Distinctiveness

Three sequential stages of ADIN professional certification — from a foundational command of narrative-analysis language to strategic work with organizational culture. The methodology distinguishes three formats in which narrative shows up in a specialist’s work: local, when the method is used in isolated actions; functional, when it becomes embedded in professional practice; and global, when it becomes part of one’s worldview and professional identity. The three certification levels are built around exactly this logic.

Foundation

The foundation: how stories shape people’s thinking, decisions, and behavior. Participants learn the language of narrative analysis, learn to recognize the scripts governing their own decisions, and take the first step from local application of the method toward personal practice — because a specialist who does not work with their own story risks mistaking someone else’s interpretations for their own.

Expert

Deep, narrative-based work with individuals: narrative interview techniques, deconstructing limiting stories, reworking identity. At this level, the method becomes embedded in professional practice — negotiation, coaching, consulting — as a functional tool that strengthens an existing specialization.

Master

The strategic level: diagnosing organizational narratives, managing culture and transformation through meaning rather than control. Narrative stops being a tool and becomes a lens through which the specialist reads conflict, resistance, and the development of entire systems.

Regardless of level, every ADIN-certified specialist develops seven core competencies: adherence to ethical standards, engagement strategy, inventory and interpretation, storymaking and transformation, narrative presence, integration and systematization, and progress and development.
